Bradley Momberger
As founder of the Network, my aim is to take care of several holes in my CV which need addressing.
- Even after four years of education in the digital arts at my alma mater UMBC, my personal website server as little more than a directory tree of junk.
- If there was outside interest in my website, it would be motivation to fix up the presentation of my old works and create new ones.
- As I'm now in graduate education in computer science, I am at times developing interesting presentations and projects, all of which could use a presence on the Web.
- I have plenty of friends with no HTML experience but with something to contribute to a forum such as this one.
- I had this Web space and nothing else to do with it (porn hosting was not an option considering my 3GB/month bandwidth).
So from these needs, the Shiny Things Network was born. I have this domain paid for through late 2007, so it's not going away any time soon.

Though only tangentially related from the gallery/art perspective, Darren runs the Super Mario World Hacking Wiki hosted on this site. He's a cool frood.
